Ahh, RIP. Cardiac arrest aged 82. 

He did some great movies, who wasn’t gripped by Deliverance . Bit of a turbulent private life but which Hollywood star didn’t.

Same here (as a teenager ..gulp).
Deliverence was superb too. I also love his voiceover in All Dog Go To Heaven.
Sad news indeed.

He was absolute gold in Boogie Nights. Perfectly cast, pitch perfect performance. I remember being pissed off that he didn't get the oscar - nominated but no cigar.
