Are these significantly better than cheaper Chinese ones?

I've not used any of the cheap Chinese ones so can't say for sure, but I am very happy with the quality of the one I got.

I bought a chinese one for a Squier strat makeover and it was excellent - Im not too fussy re source as long as it looks the part and fits - but do want the HB pickup route to be rounded as Im putting an uncovered humbucker and to date I havent seen one in red tort ..
