SOLD!! Blackstone MOSFET dual drive: latest version £140

Having obsessed over the Blackstone for a decade, and then purchased same on this very forum (@mondaypeanut), I found myself with a Vertex Steel Stringer (true love), a RYRA 808 (shock'n'awe) - and the Blackstone.  Re the latter, we had an awkward first date, and then it went downhill - so, sorry, but it's back here at a fair price.  Post free in the UK; at cost internationally.  Excellent condition, latest version, box, and manual.  And by god, it's beautiful; petite, industrial chic, and very cleverly designed.  Just not for me, though.

Possibly a silly question,  but did you have a tinker with the internal trim pots at all?

I did tweak - and truthfully, this pedal sounds very good - but I realise I don't need the two channels/boost levels.  Went there before with a Fulldrive and a Lovepedal Amp 11, but I now prefer to build up my drive with an additional stacked pedal.  This is a slightly perverse approach, as it uses more 'board space - but that's what I do...

I’m a fan of the blackstone. It’s an all original circuit and sounds great. Im surprised you didn’t pick over the others

Sounds like you've given it a fair shot then, just thought I'd check.  It's a cool pedal, I used to have one too. I'm struggling to remember why I sold it...  The usual GAS madness I expect.

Truthfully, I too am a fan, and respect the thought (and the components; I mean that box is full...) which have gone into this pedal.  There's a real integrity in the design, but although I'd been drawn to it for that edge of breakup thing on which part of its reputation has been built, there's simply not quite the clarity I'm after.
