Help a noob get his music heard please !

Please can someone help me on the following, or direct me to threads giving the low down on downloading, playing over and uploading my compositions for your various competitions. I have garage band/iPad and reaper/laptop. Prefer using GarageBand. 

Also I see lots of people uploading their playing via soundcloud and I want to join in - how do you do it ?

I can play but I’m a bit of a technophobe ! 

Any advice appreciated - thanks

Details for the current cover challenge are given in the original post in the following thread (including the email address where to send your entry). You don't have to upload your competition entry to soundcloud. The person running the challenge will upload it for you.

Just get a Free soundcloud account...save your files a Mp3, upload to soundcloud to share on the forum, or email Mp3 files direct for comps....Looking forward to hearing !

Thanks @spark240  soundcloud is new to me so I’ll get it downloaded from Apps and start posting.
Can you convert from GarageBand to mp3 and then upload to Soundcloud ? Or Jam up Pro ?

I’m not familiar with garage band sorry...someone here will chip in on that I’m sure....you can use wav files for soundcloud but they can be large so MP3 is easier.

Garageband 10 will do it for you.

On the top bar, hit Share. Third option down the menu is Song To SoundCloud...
