Lipe Soldato #038 - made in July 2012 by master luthier Michael Lipe. The guitar has a Alder back with a Curly Maple bent top with a Tiger Eye finish. Plays, looks and sounds great. The neck is a 1/4 sawn maple neck with a Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard. Amalfitano pickups, 5-way switch and Hipshot tuners. Lipe Guitars are high end boutique guitars that are hand made one at a time by Mike Lipe himself. Mike’s guitars are recognized by their stunning appearance, musical tone, and effortless playability. Each guitar’s wood is selected based on moisture content, stability, and acoustic properties personally selected by Mike. Mike has built guitars for Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Brian May, Carlos Santana, Paul Stanley, Kurt Cobain, Sting, Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen, Scott Henderson, John Fogerty, David Bowie, Andy Timmons... to name but a few!

The guitar is in good condition, with only a few minor marks (all highlighted in the photos with white arrows - as very difficult to see due to size) - 1 very tiny ding in the clear coat on the top, 2 small chips in the clear coat on the base near the strap button on the maple binding, 2 small chips on the lower horn which have been repaired by a professional, and 1 light scuff on the clear coat close to the strap button. The hard case also has a chip (photographed). I like to be thorough in describing everything no matter how small!

Comes with a G&G hard case and pickup covers for neck and middle pickups (I prefer them off), strap locks, tremolo bar, signed certificate of authenticity and Lipe documents.
