I'm selling my Keith McMillen SoftStep with the MIDI Expander box - £179 including p&p SOLD (assuming PayPal gift).

Put simply, it's one of the most advanced yet super easy to use USB MIDI foot controllers currently available on the market.

If you are unfamiliar with it, in a nutshell, every pad on the SoftStep can transmit up to 8 messages at the same time and not only can they act as simple switches but they can also be used for continuous control - as if every pad was a separate expression pedal! The additional MIDI Expander included here (which costs £60 by itself!) allows you to not only power it from any USB power adaptor but also gives you standard MIDI ports which means the unit can be used with any standard MIDI device, without a computer in between.

It works great with various guitar equipment like the Kemper profiling amp, Axe FX, Helix as well as any synths or computer setups.

The unit is in excellent condition (having only been used in a smoke-free studio) and it is fully functional. Included is a USB cable, the expression pedal adaptor and the additional MIDI Expander box.

The software editor available for download from Keith McMillen's website allows you to configure everything on the unit. It works with Mac, Windows and even mobile devices without the need for any drivers.
