Felt like I guitarist for the first time

Started playing almost a year ago but progress has been slow due to reasons.
Had a lesson last night and spent the last 10 minutes just doing improv over a simple backing track with my tutor.
Nothing difficult just using scale notes as starting points.
It actually felt like I was playing the guitar!  Maybe because I was playing with someone.
Great feeling.

    Great feeling.

Of all the things I've tried in order to improve playing, the absolute hands down most effective thing for improving is just playing with other people.

It's also the most fun way of improving, which helps! Certainly beats the shit out of endlessly practicing scales over metronome beats.

    Keep up the progress!
