Anyone here heard of Threatin?

I was browsing through The Belfast Empire's website to see what bands were playing and came across this guy.  I decided to look him up.  

Basically he has built up a fake fanbase and sold himself to venues across to UK.  

So far he has played gigs in Camden, Birmingham, and Bristol and is due to play this one in Belfast tonight.  I'm guessing people will turn up because of the negative publicity he has gained.  Whether the rest of his gigs get cancelled or go ahead remains to be seen.

He's been cancelled but it looks like a proper local band, called Periapt, are going to get to play instead, which is great for them and hopefully they will get good publicity from it.
