RIP Stan Lee

The leading light of Marvel Comics has died aged 95.

I only read Marvel comics for a relatively short time, probably up until the early '80s, but they seem to have left an indelible impression on my brain.  And Stan Lee was never some shadowy faceless publisher figure, he wanted his name up front just as he revelled in his cameo appearances in all the recent films.

RIP.

Excelsior!

  • How sad, I love his Marvel movie cameos, just recently watched Ant Man & The Wasp, I guess that was his last?

    Bless him.

    Cameo in Venom I believe.

We we have two threads on the go for the late Stanley Lieber, dont know if a mod can amalgamate?

    R.I.P. to a giant.
Marvel were always much better than DC IMO.

I think he'll also be in the fourth Avengers film.

I was a massive Marvel fan in the 70s, still have boxes of comics in the loft. In truth I loved the comics way more than the films. His cameo's were so cool, he was great in the Big Bang Theory as well.
