Didn't stop me having a great night: )
I don’t have any great moral or philosophical objection to it, except ... he might have found it in his heart to direct some of his audience towards the north Mississippi hill country artists who’s music he was ripping off, and who were for the most part still alive but skint at the time he was all over mainstream media. People like the North Mississippi Allstars and Jon Spencer went to great lengths to make sure people knew about he original artists and the tradition they were drawing on. But not old Steve. He was all “uh...yeah....dis mah doghouse boogie music” or some stupid shit. Is it now, Stephen Wold whose spent most of his time as a record producer in fucking Sweden or somewhere? Is it really?
