FS: 1963 Fender Princeton £SOLD
1963 Fender Princeton: £1950 PPG + insured courier

I need to raise funds for a mortgage application so this is back for sale at a reduced price.
Fitted with a brand new, custom-ordered Mercury Magnetics UK voltage power transformer (in red), a 1MEG volume pot has been added to bring the amp specs in line with the original schematic) along with a bias adjustment pot and a new handle.
The amp has been re-biased with a 1961 5y3 Sylvania rectifier and a matched pair of Slyvania 6V6GTY fitted. 1960s RCA 7025 and 12AX7 valves complete the preamp section.
The speaker is a December 1965 Jensen P10Q Alnico speaker which is the perfect match for this circuit, it starts to breakup very nicely around 6 on the volume dial.
The original 110v power transformer and original 250K volume pot both function perfectly and are included in the sale price should the buyer wish to revert back to standard USA specs.
Grill cloth and brown tolex are original and in extremely good condition for a 55 year old amp.
It runs super quiet and has that beautiful tremolo circuit too. The perfect match for Strats and Telecasters. I recommend hitting the front end with a clean boost and riding the guitar volume for clean to natural overdrive tones. It is a winner.
Collection from Durham is preferred but I am happy to pack it up for a courier at the buyers expense, however it must be fully insured. I will not consider shipping without cover. This is amp is too special to take any silly risks.
