If it’s any consolation, I got mine before Christmas and got bored looking through it after about 10 minutes. If you want to see lots of different colours of Fender basses, it’s great. But overall the variety of basses covered is tiny.

I guess I’m being a little harsh as there’s also some interviews in there which might be entertaining - I only skimmed them and I should go back and read them properly.

In any case, if it grows in value like Entwistle’s book has then it’ll be a sound investment whether you like the contents or not.

Got mine late last week. It’s not something you’d want to drop on your foot, that’s for sure. 

Got some gorgeous pics in there though. I’m very in love with some of those vintage Fenders.

Ordered Dec 30. Arrived April 19. Amazon Prime.

It weighs more than some bass amps I've known. It's rather splendid though. 400-plus full colour pages of bass porn and Ged's words and anecdotes on every page.

I somehow paid £16 for mine on Amazon. I would be surprised if that was much more than the print cost tbh. Perhaps why it was so grudgingly delivered! 

Great bit of work though. Tons of interest for Rush fans

The price is partially dependent on economies of scale. The more units are pre-ordered, the lower the retail price per unit can become.

I suspect that demand had vastly exceeded the publishers’ sales projection figures.

Still not received my copy yet. Boo, hiss.

Amazon recently cancelled my order, on the basis that they didn't know when it would become available.
