Reel to Reel tape recording

Not for many years...still got some of the reels though!

Last machine I used was a Fostex 1/2" 16 track

Sadly probably not....as it was the age of no camera phones and suchlike, taking snaps of equipment wasnt high on our agenda, ...I may have a pic of my first Tascam 8 track reel to reel...   

I recall recording a band with this song, this was on the Fostex 16, I can see us all now sitting in the studio, the one guy had the backing track on an Atari PC, guitarist used my Galien Kruger 250ML ( which I still have), singer was behind the glass using an SM58. 

All through a Studiomaster desk onto a Sony DAT recorder to master,  

I reckon  this was about 25 years ago, Happy days !

Tascam TSR-8 and Roland MC-50 mk2. Transferred all of my old projects to Apple Logic years ago. Still got the gear.
