Martin D16 GT acoustic

Had this a couple of years, in fact it is my first
guitar.

It is a very dependable, well constructed instrument with a great action, it stays in tune well.

I thought it had a great sound - noticably than cheaper guitars i have played.... then I picked up a Martin D18 in a shop and the sound was even richer and more resonant.

I would say if you can stretch to £1400 for a new one, you might be better off saving another £600-700 for a D18.

But if you can pick up a good condition D16 for circa £700-750 then it would be well worth it, it feels like it is built to last a lifetime.
