James Dean Bradfield Acoustic

What's Hot

Often go hunting about for acoustic Manics songs, really love this version, bit weird without Traci Lords singing as well, but such a great version.

It's my favourite Open G thing ever. Just perfect.

I absolutely love the bloke. I shared a venue with him when he was touring his solo album (Oxford Zodiac, around 2006?). We were playing the little stage while he was upstairs in the big room. I still kick myself that I wasn't cheekier to the promoters and blagged my way to say hi to him

There's a bootleg floating around on Youtube with Kylie singing, who was meant to sing it originally.    Great stuff!

    Here it is.

I think Traci Lords might have nailed it the first time round though, good on Kylie for doing it though.

Those two songs really remind me of Roddy Frame. In a good way.

  • I always thought it was amazing the way he can sing when he plays fancy intricate lines

I saw the Manics in Torquay, and it was the loudest gig I’ve ever been to...... I think the soundman thought they were playing Wembley Stadium.... :s

JDB is one of the slickest, most accomplished players out there. Miles better than the Manic 'set up' allows him to demonstate- I once heard him playing jazz and it was remarkable.

  • He did some acoustic tunes on the last tour. He played Faster and From Despair to Where on his own on acoustic during the Manics gig at Llandudno last year; superb.

And, Sean Moore is one of the tightest drummers on the planet.

He's also the answer to the question "Who is the best fat Welsh drummer?
