Any thoughts on the Seymour Duncan Dirty Deed

I'm looking for a replacement for my Joyo Ultimate Drive which I use for noisy riffing stacked with a Rat clone. The Ultimate Drive is just a bit too muffled and the useable range of the controls is quite limited.

Anyone had experience with the Dirty Deed? It's going quite cheap at Strings Direct and what few demos I've seen of it look quite interesting. Although, on I side note, I wish there were more distortion pedal demos that played more like I do. I want to hear how riffs and open sustainy chords sound, I just can't relate to fancy solos...

The other option might be to get some sort of overdrive for example a Soul Food, and use that for lower gain stuff in front of the Rat, that is use the Rat for the higher gain stuff. Thinking out loud really....
