Our First Gig

So last Wednesday was my new bands first gig!  Apart from Gasfests, this was my first proper gig too.

We are a new band, they had one gig last summer and I joined in October to play drums.  Below is a youtube vid of our gig.



Few sound issues early on and the organisers of the hotel had the food served half way through our set (not very helpful).  All in, very happy with how it went.

The gig was for my employers annual sales kick off event.  Over 220 people (I know about 100 of them) gathered together for series of meetings and then drinking and dancing.  So buzzed by it all, the pressure of playing to that number of people that you know is great.  

Had very good feedback, a couple of comments about the sound and few about vocals, all fixable for the next gig.
