    It was utterly exceptional- perhaps not as light as i'd expected (late 8lbs) but really notably 'woody' and if it were a singer, very deep chested in tone.

    Pickups were quite low gain by HB standards but real detail and clarity.

    Neck was much thinner than any R8 I have played ever.
