A minor modmin coup... fretboard funding request!

I’m doing something totally out of line, because I feel strongly about it - and sometimes you just have to do what you think is right.

@digitalscream posted in another thread (I’ll link it later when I’m not on my phone!) about one of his dogs and impending vet bills, and the fact he’s going to struggle to pay it. 

Thing is, one of the reasons for that is Lee pays for a chunk of the hosting costs for the fretboard and he has done for the last 6 years - as well as numerous other costs.

He never whinges about it, or moans, or asks us to cover those costs. Even when we are an unruly mob that give him nothing but grief, he still coughs up the readies. He puts a stupid amount of time in, and will work thru the night to keep things ticking over. He’s developing the new site for free to get rid of all the annoyances we have with this one. 

Now personally I don’t think that’s fair. 

So, in my best Bob Geldof, I’d like to appeal to you all to chip in a bit to make sure he gets some of that investment back so he can pay some important bills. 

I’ll post up a paypal address in a bit so you know where to send to. Of course, you don’t have to give - it’s a free site - but I think it would be nice to help a chap out who gives so much time and money to this place.

I'm not managing to do this with the info above - I've logged into my Paypal account, but am getting an error message:

"Please enter a valid email address, name or mobile number (i.e. name@domain.com, a name or an 11-digit number only)."

Can @Bridgehouse ; or somebody let me know what to enter to make this work?  Thanks, and I agree it would be nice if folks could chip in!

Just click on the link above, it will take you to paypal directly. It's not an email address.

I made a separate thread to reach a wider membership - specially as this is specifically about fretboard funding and the fact that Lee is shouldering a chunk of it on it’s own - in my view that’s a separate thing from Lee’s doggy issues as well
