IRs question

Are IRs specific to the unit being used? I have an AX8 and an Amplifire 3 for a backup. The Amplifire came with some MBritt cab IRs, can I use these with the Fractak?

IR files in .wav format are universal, and most systems also have some proprietary format. I'm afraid there's no way of extracting IRs from Amplifire to use in any other system.

The MBritt IRs I have been sent separately so may give them a try...
