EU Import

Hi all,

Please can I check if we're still able to import guitars from the EU with rosewood or ebony? If so, are there any import fees?

Just looking for a quick answer as opposed to a Brexit discussion etc.

As of yet no rules have changed regarding EU imports. You should be able to import without customs duties.

Yeah, all fine - although some countries (I’m looking at you, Germany) could give Brazilian rosewood problems even intra-EU. 

Ebony is not restricted anywhere unless it’s from Madagascar, which is unlikely on a guitar (but not impossible!)

We’re still in the EU so it’s ok but I wouldn’t ship anything in appendix 1 like Brazilian.
