FS/FT Charvel 375 (SOLD) - MusicMan Axis (SOLD)

I am having a bit of a spring clean.  Going through my instruments and gear and trying to de-clutter.  So I have been trying to decide which ones have to go due to not being played.   I have acquired number of Hamers last couple of years and they seem to be the only thing being played.  I have boxes and bubble wrap so this would be packed really well.  Location is in Scotland.  Happy to meet within a reasonable distance in Scotland and possibly north of England (done that few times with HarrySeven) if that makes things easier.

I have had some offers from abroad.  Just to put it out there if I would decide to ship internationally that is not included in the price.

As for trades I am only interested in 80s/90s super strats.  My preference would be sale since I am trying to have a bit of de-clutter but I am always interested in shredders from my teenage period and would love to try a couple more.  ESP M2 is high on the list and also Ibanez.  Not interested in just the plain RG models but old Jems and anything with a reversed headstock RG565, PGM etc. You can always try me with another brand worst case I say no thanks.

I got this guitar before getting all the Hamers for trying out different pickups and as a little project.  Since then I have not really done much with it and all the playing time is on the Hamers.  

This is a great guitar with a lovely neck.  The pickups are the stock Jackson ones.  Not sure what the single coils are but the humbucker is J-90C.  Jackson licenced Floyed Rose.  The guitar comes with a fairly new hard case.  There are couple of small dings on the front of the guitar and I will try and capture those.  This is a fantastic guitar for someone that either is looking for a solid shred guitar or is looking for a little project.

MusicMan Axis – trans gold quilt - £1000 (SOLD)

If I remember correctly this is a ’99 model.  I got it as my first ‘proper’ guitar in 2005.  It is in a very good condition.  There are couple of dinks on the back of it and I have tried to capture it in some pictures.  On the front there are tiny dots which you cant really see unless the light is at the right angle.

This guitar plays really well and what attracted me to it was the simplicity, two pickups, three way selector and one volume.  Two custom Dimarzio pickups and a Floyed Rose that only dives.  The guitar comes with a G&G vintage hard case.  Not sure if this is an original case for those guitars but since this guitar is a bit more compact than many, the case fits it perfectly.

That case is original dude. And quite sought after too. My super sport came in same one. Some people on ebmm forum were quite interested in buying the case only when I had the guitar listed for sale few years ago.

Thanks for the info. I just assumed that an original case would be one of these black cases with MusicMan emblazoned on it.

My 97 Axis came in the G&G vintage style case but black/black

Yep, the blue one in en route from the US - I have something else properly Hamerly-special (but not actually a Special) - which has just landed in the UK and hopefully will be with me in a few days - its a bit barmy.

I keep looking at your Axis - if its not snapped up by someone soon - I might have to have chat with you about it.

I cant wait to see the blue one and now you really got me interested.  That must be something really cool.  

I might be interested in another Hamer as a trade for the Axis but trying to get rid and not add.  I have a feeling an ESP might not be my thing but I got a JEM few months back and I love it.
