Sheldon, are we limited to just using the notes from those chords or are we free to play over those chords using fitting modes, scales and key changes?

It says "using only the chords Bmaj7, Amin7 and D7 and the notes within them"
    - by my reckoning, that's every note except C#.

Surely that's enough notes for you? It's a few too many for my tastes.
    ;)

Me too Ha! I guess that's what it literally says...  but I meant are we limited to a particular chord arpeggios over the being played.

  • Ha ha lol I didn't really check that through but yeah bugger it if your playing chords you can only use the three specified and the the motes within them to do little runs and fills. As @steamabacus says that gives you plenty of scope.

But yeah the only chords you can use are the ones specified.

  • It would be good if people could use the chords to a fair percentage and not just noodle there way through a whole song.

Yep only those chords and the notes within them. If you need a c# for a scale of afraid you will have to leave it at home :-)

F is out! Rapidly running out of notes here!
    :-O

(Actually, makes it a bit easier - they're still not three chords I'd naturally stick together, though)
