Chord Of The Week 7/6/14 - open-position Octave shapes

Sometimes it's useful to strum a 'chord' that has only one note in it, when providing drones or when you're not sure of the harmony. Five open string notes to choose from - E A D G and B, so here are some options for one-note chords using them.

E5no5th: 0x2x50 or 07x9x0 or 0 7 x 9 x 12
A5no5th: x0x2x5 or x 0 7 x 10 x or x07xx5
D5no5th: xx0x3x or x x 0 7 x 10
G5no5th: 3x50x3 or 3x508x or x 10 x 0 8 x
B5no5th: x2x40x or 7x9x07
