Is the LED on the Signal Pad wired 'backwards' (i.e. on when the pad is disengaged)? I might have a need for such a thing, but not if it's going to confuse me

No, the LED is on when attenuating, so if you're using it as a solo "boost" you turn it off to allow the full signal.

Lemme have a think then dude; could do with a solo boost for t'bass (I know, I know) but could do without spending monies so might see if the guitar overdrive I've got kicking around will do it!
