Drop D songs

I thought I might have a go at Numb by Gary Clarke Jr which is basically a droning riff played with dropped D. I wondered what else might be in drop D and Google seems to have brought up a lot of metal and some finger style blues. I was looking more for some basic blues rock stuff. Any ideas?

Killing In The Name is an obvious one. Also anything by Audioslave!

Less obvious ones but still killer riffs...

You need to check Cry Of Love out. Audley Freed on guitar. Long since disbanded but amazing guitar playing.

I think it is, long time since I heard it but from memory it is also about 90% drum solo! That can't be good... |)

Black Stone Cherry are a great band for proper rock riffs. Some of slash solo stuff is, and is as sleazy as ever

Cracking blues/rock riff though. There's a version on the bonus disc of the recent re-release that misses the drum solo.

Cracking blues/rock riff though. There's a version on the bonus disc of the recent re-release that misses the drum solo.

I'll have to give it a listen, one of those I tended to skip.

Ooo, White Knuckles by Alter Bridge (d flat technically) is a really cool riff, so is Coming Home and Buried Alive (all three from the same album).
