  • Avoid Black Keys at all costs =] in my mind never a duller use of fuzz for fuzz's sake have I ever found

Erm, using fuzz on Nirvana songs always sounds cool to me, check out The Black Bells on youtube too they're good but female which may make vocals more difficult if you need to learn them too. Or the Kills, try The Good Ones. Or Yeah Yeah Yeahs seem quite fuzzy. Following the Queens of the Stone Age recommendation above as well, try Them Crooked Vultures. I find a bit dull to listen to but great fun to play, they often use some cool fuzz effects

Just play everything you know and throw some Fuzz in places for funsies. You will be surprised at some of the outcomes
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Lots of melodic mid tempo Gilmourish improvised soloing.

Anything by Jeff Beck up until about 1976.

    Roobarb and Custard theme! :)
