    Fender Deluxe 112
    Fender Blues Devill 4 x10
Fender "the twin" aka Evil Twin

I have a Laney head, not idea what it is unless I go and look at the name on it....

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • I have had:

    Marshall MG15DFX
Vox Valvetronix AD100VT (miss that a bit)
Laney LH50 (excellent amp, MASSIVE toroidal, if that's important?)
Blackstar HT20 (literally for a day, loved the sounds but it didn't do funk)
Fender Blues Junior (literally for a day - didn't like it at all) - proof it's worth going to a local shop!
Mooer Little Monster (kept this for a while, great AC30 style cleans and drive in a tiny head).
    Peavey Bandit (current squeeze)

Near future: Possibly another cheap solid state amp to run in stereo with the bandit

More distant future (next 12 months): Ultimate amp - MJW Orion configured like a Twin/TweedJTM/Other style channel one, 6505/modded Marshall channel two (delete as I happen to feel at the time).  Might see if there are any extra features I could have built in, but that's according to budget and circuitry constraints.  Probably 40-50 watts or so with a half power switch, but not sure - KT88s are an option apparently, that would be cool!  6l6 are more likely, but that's something for the expert to educate me on.

After that, I really don't think I'll need another amp!

Many!  Started with a weird old Woolworths brand amp with tremolo and an elliptical speaker, owned many Marshalls, a few Fenders and loads of oddballs in between, and ended up with my current Egnater Rebel 30.

Currently telling myself I'm perfectly content with it and there is no reason to ever change again, but I know how that story goes!  :((
-- Before you ask, no, I am in no way, shape or form related to Fuzzdog pedals, I was Fuzzdog before Fuzzdog were Fuzzdog.  Unless you want to give me free crap, then I'm related to whatever the hell you like! --

  • Vox ac15 CC1.

And that's it. In that time I'm must have had around 15 guitars. I'm thinking of getting a Fender Princeton as No. 1 and semi-retiring the Vox.

Sound City solid state pos - turned it up full & wondered why I didn't sound like Malcolm Young- The Goofy years

Peavey Bandit 65 - my first valve amp - turned everything up full - & played it religiously during the first 4 years I learned how to play

Several Marshall JMP - 50 watters

Another (last) foray into SS with a 120 watt Peavey stereo chorus - my dreaded 'chorus on everything' phase.

More recently an Artisan 15H head with 2x12 greenbacks - beautiful sound but no cleans with a vigorous drummer.

Traded that (on here) for a Fender HRD 'White Lightning' - great amp which has not required any work to date

Also finally took the plunge (also on here!) and scored my dream amp - Ceriatone OTS 'Bluesmaster' HRM - a dumble style head which has a clean channel which sounds every bit as good as the o/d channel if you crank it

Wants? Want to try a ZT Lunchbox - getting old & lazy ))
    Seemed like a good idea.....
