formula 1 b3 5 9, so Cmadd9 is C Eb G D which is 8657xx or 865x3x.

I love the crunchy effect of the b3 and the 9 ringing against each other - often the 9 note is brought down an octave to sit between the 1 and b3 for extra crunchiness!
