I love sus4. When I was learning my first few chords I used 2, 3 and 4 to play G for the pleasure of hammering my index finger on the B string to produce G4: 320013.

I particularly like them reduced to two or three notes where they are ambiguous. My favourites:
D shape xxx233,
A shape xx223x,
E shape x2x2xx
All normally played a lot further up the neck
