Just generally bored. Bored with the job, my life in general. I never seem to have enough time to do what I want to do. The only thing I'm not bored with is my wife. I want to retire to somewhere warm where I haven't got to put up with wankers, bums and stiffs. 

I am pissed, so ignore me.  I don't actually know why I'm posting this crap.

Reaper is going to appear, but guaranteed we'll all have a list of 'things I wanted to do but haven't got around to' for him to burn when he comes a-knocking.

Despite having a decent job, decent band, decent guitars etc, I'm also restless. Would love to move abroad but it'd mean my partner not working and it's hard to give up a second income. Plus having to quit a band and possibly miss out on ever owning a house (it's expensive here but more so abroad).

I quit my job and became a gardner last summer for old folk who couldn't bend down too well. It'll be no good now winters on its way but you can get out of 'the machine' mate. There's nothing in the world quite like quitting your shitty little job.

See this shit pisses me off.  I trained for 6 years, went to college for 4 and these muppets think they can drop into my field on a whim and even charge more than me half the time.  It's not like I decide I want a break and drop into brain surgery.
