There's an interesting vid on YouTube where Gilmour explains Comfortably Numb was originally played in a  weird, homebrewed variant on Nashville tuning, in that someone asked him on a separate session to try "high strung" acoustic but he didn't know what it was so just stuck a load of thin strings on and tuned stupidly high (but still EADGBE, I think) and used it on CN to create that airy feel to the chords

I've never tried Bm7b5: x20231 but I do like X2323X fingering 1324 lo-to-hi

I like  x04030    I'm sure someone will point out the it's not really Bm though.

Works nicely clean or acoustic with added variations like  x04032,  x04035  etc etc

7x763x is a nice and different sounding Bm9. And 7x7633 is cool too - a bit Holdsworth-ish sounding, not sure what the name for it should be, Bm9#5 maybe...

That does sound nice but it's a hell of a stretch for me - I really need to practise more lol

It is a bit of a stretchy one for sure - Holdsworth has a lot to answer for!    Helps if you have the guitar high-ish on a strap to reach round the neck better.
