Up for sale is the superb Audiolab 8000C preamp. Its a highly respected piece of kit with all the connectivity you'll need and also option for MM/MC cartridges.

The Audiolab series was renowned for excellent sound quality, with the feature set including the ability to listen to one source whilst recording another.

Its scuffed but in perfect working order.

Free Bump! Amazing bits of kit are Audiolab I've got the 8000A amp and it's the best bit of hifi kit I've ever bought. If I had the spare money I'd buy it. I've heard one of these paired with the Audiolab power amp and it blew me away £200 is a steal!

Lovely unit my friend.  If I needed a good pre-amp, I would be very tempted.  And it has a decent phono stage too.  Good luck with the sale.  I will link this to a hi-fi forum in Ireland.

I have the 8000 power amp and this preamp and they are really just amazing quality.  I am using them to drive a pair of old Tannoy Cheviots which are HUGE (12" dual concentric speakers) and need a lot of driving and yet they do it with ease.  For the money you just can't beat the 8000s.
