"Vanquish Guitars and Wudtone ™ collaborate to create the ultimate rock guitar" 

The UK has given birth to some of the most famous guitarists of all time, from Page to Clapton, Beck to Peter Green. Yet, despite these artistic roots and world renowned engineering , the UK has not yet been considered a hotbed for electric guitar development or manufacturing. However that may well be about to change as two of the UK’s leading guitar companies combine their world class, award winning innovations to create a new breed of electric guitar.

The first Vanquish - Wudtone model is due for completion in Spring 2015.

So hands on this piece to do the finishing with Wudtone,  loving the top carve. The body neck joint is awesome craft and so is pretty much everything about it.  Adrian Hardman, without doubt one of the UK's most gifted fine guitar makers. Feeling very lucky to be adding Wudtone's finish and hardware innovation to such a wonderful piece. Tricky masking, very nerve wracking finishing job on this.

@TTony headstock shot after the mahogany is finished. PLus a few others ,m o this will cure for a week or two. Some plating to do on the bespoke shaped Wudtone trems that are going on these and then back to Ade at Vanquish to fit out , assemble etc. Quite looking forward to a play.

light is a bit harsh / bright for pics really but you get the look. It is quite glossy ( and will burnish a bit more once cured).

OK so finally three ageing top coats have gone on to warm this and its done. Quite pleased with final outcome of the finish, really thin un lacquer like but more than enough gloss especially after a buff on the curves etc.. It's back to Ade at Vanquish this week for set up etc. Very much looking forward to experiencing this unique guitar.
