Sold - PRS Custom 22 - 10 Top - Solid Indian Rosewood Neck - Sold
What's Hot
I'm regretting this even as I type, but I have something else on my radar so my wonderful PRS is on the block for as long as the current target of My GAS remains available.
Specs are:
2008 PRS Custom 22
Wide Thin Indian Rosewood Neck with the outline Birds
Dragon II Pickups
Quilted 10 Top
McCarty Switching (Three way Switch with a coil tap on the tone pot)
Comes with the hang tag and case candy (you can see the bag on the main photo
Condition is very good and the guitar has always been well looked after, but this is no case queen and the guitar has been played as such there are some fine 'pick swirls' in the finish visible if you hold it up to the light at the right angle and some tarnishing on the nickle parts. No knocks chips or dings. Both of these may polish out as they are pretty light, but that is how it is now and I'd rather be honest on condition as is than prep it for a sale.
Looking for £1200 cash firm. Not looking for trades unless someone has a black Les Paul Custom with an Ebony Fretboard that I can add cash to.
Would prefer collection from Brentwood in Essex, but I work In London so could arrange to hand it over there. Not keen on shipping, but I will package it up if a seller wants to arrange a courier at your own risk.
Anyway a picture paints a thousand words so here they are:

This is a birth year guitar for me and I have been chasing one for a decade. All the ones I have found previously seem to be either (a) heavily reliced (not in a good way) (b) missing the certificate, (c) unsympathetically modified (routed for a locking term), or (d) crazily overpriced. So need to pull the trigger on this ASAP.
If the Strat goes I'll withdraw the PRS as its an awesome guitar and worth well more than I have it up for, but really need to get the Strat if I can, there are other PRSs, but good condition reasonably priced 25th anniversary strats are very hard to come by.
OMG!! Bargain alert.. This is a seriously sweet guitar.

Have you played a rosewood neck PRS? They are a bit special.
