Best tremolo pedals?

I've got a joyo tremolo at the moment which has done me well, but I want something better now. Any recommendations? It needs to be a similar size to fit on my board.

Unquestionably the Earthquaker Devices Hummingbird, assuming you like choppy. The other two that got my goat before I opted for the EQD were the Zvex Sonar and the Empress Tremolo.

Guys listen to me about this one- that Monster FX is amazing. It is so rare and so droolsome it's untrue. I'm the only person I know that's ever had one! I only sold it when I bought the Clapton Twinolux with onboard trem.

The eventide modfactor has 4 or 5 great tremolo settings on it and its sooooo tweakable 

Loads of other stuff in it as well

However, now I've seen the 2nd post, I'll retract- the Swamp Thang does masterful Brownface Trem. That's it, nothing else.

Catalinbread have got three - the Paredolia, which is a BF Vibrato super-tremolo type thing; the Semaphore, which is a 6-knob beast with expression pedal input; and the Valcoder, which is new for NAMM and will take a wee while to make it to the shops - a super-choppy Valco-amp-type tremolo that has caught my eye as a compliment to the trem on my Princeton Reverb for my Tarantino-soundtrack obsession (No Ed, shush. You don't need any more pedals YES I DO ALL THE PEDALS)

For cheap, the Danelectro cool cat trem sounds really cool - the footswitch is awful though
