SOLD 1974 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop

An absolutely beautiful goldtop deluxe this. Plays flawlessly and sounds wonderful. This is one of the guitars I thought I'd never sell (!) but having been on a bit of a spree recently something has got to go. All original except neck pickup looks to be from 1976 as it has a 'williamsville' stamp on it's underside so must've been replaced around that time. Looking for £2500. Not wanting trades but try me anyway, you never know! I'm in Ascot, Berkshire. Thanks!

PS I have the original tailpiece, it will be fitted in place of my 'Roman numeral' one in the pics!

Trick of the lens/shadows on the volute perhaps? Definitely not wonky!

No worries! Yep, they're called 'goof hiders' or 'goof rings', put there frequently in the 70's to hide supposed imperfections in the holes drilled/paintwork. Factory fitted... A Norlin oddity!

Can't say I'm that familiar with 70's gibsons. Noticed the singer of The War On Drugs playing one, sounds good too.
