Due to other recent acquisitions this rather lovely guitar finds itself surplus and I'm not one for collecting and leaving guitars unplayed.
It's a 2007 Custom Shop Historic 57 Reissue singlecut junior in TV yellow.
Baseball bat neck
Great condition though the bridge is starting to fade in in courtesy of my acid hands.
Original hardcase, custom shop book etc etc.
Set up with 11-50s currently.
I love this guitar but the P90 hum at gig volumes with a relatively high gain amp wasn't quite suited for me. Catswhisker pickups custom wound me a low output P90 sized humbucker to get as close to an original P90 sound as possible. To my ear it sounds great, removes the hum and is infinitely better than the gibson one that was in there originally ( @bowynmadley should be able to testify). However, the original pickup is still included should you so desire to revert.
These are now in the region of £2700 if you can find one.
I don't need to sell it so no silly offers for some cupcakes you've just baked and a mexican strat please.
To sell - £1500
To trade - possibly interested in a high end electro-acoustic: Lowden or Avalon et al.
