Based on the '62 AVRI, the Costello signature model features a walnut finish and softer tremolo action.

Made in the USA in 2008.

Fitted with the Mastery bridge, solving the problems with rattle, weak sustain, and tuning stability.

Curtis Novak Jazzmaster PAF pickups. Smooth, warm and no hum!

The pickguard is a Fender anodized aluminum for improved shielding and less hum and noise.

The neck plate is a Glendale "extreme" extra thick cold rolled steel, which does not bend like the original Fender, for improved contact.

The pots are CTS.

There are light marks from occasional home playing, but nothing I could really photograph effectively. The electronics work 100%, no problems. The back of the neck has no dings or scratches.

I had the guitar setup and frets levelled by CA Guitarworks.

Includes the hard case and case candy.

£1350. Located in Hertford. Can post for £35.

Do you have all the original parts? Of I'm going to play (and pay top dollar for) a signature guitar, it's got to have the right spec.

I only have the original bridge and bridge cover. I'll see if the other bits are in the loft some time.

In terms of price I'm open to offers. I've not seen any Costello JMs come up for sale in the last few months apart from a standard one in the US which would cost ~£1880 landed.

can we see some more pics

do you have the neck plate with the serial number on it? What case comes with it etc
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
