There is an "Organ" patch which our lead guitarist uses - fantastic for renditions of "I do like to be beside the seaside". Oh, and it's not bad for the backing organ / synth on Oye Como Va. Works better with 'buckers than single coils.

I have now played through mine for approximately 60 minutes and concluded I need to learn loads about how it works!

Sounds are great though, and basic interface is great. I just have to work out how to do parallel paths, and how all this mode/patch/snapshot type stuff works.

Writing a lot of stuff right now that requires expression pedal control of a bunch of drives and delays at the same time to create textural stuff. It's pretty awesome for writing... only way I'm going to be able to pull it off live is with the Helix though!!

    That's my main advantage
I use the expression pedals all the time
When I use my trad pedal board a simple button boost isn't cutting it

    Weird...

Have you lot got a "Stupor" drive pedal? The SD1 model?

its not showing on mine but it's in the release notes.

    any ideas?

I have it, yes. Have you updated the Helix Editor as well as the firmware of the unit itself?
