What colour to paint my V?

Here is a lovely V we are building for stock with a flame maple top

What colour should we paint it?
It will need to be a translucent colour to show the grain through the top .....but which colour scheme to choose

    I was going to say Antigua Burst but then couldn't find a picture that actually showed the grain through on any guitar.

    I'm afraid those PRS style blues and greens and reds don't do a lot for me. I'd prefer something like a tobacco burst to that.
