39-3 and Italy are giving up. Lost both their starting locks, reffing one sided and against a team that is nowhere as bad as results have shown.

Refs not had the best of games (his first) Ireland can do what they like on the floor apparently. Ireland have killed this poor Italian team though, scored some great tries too.

It's his first test, which is ill advised in the circumstances. Italy rarely get a fair crack IMO and to put this kid in here he's just been influenced by the whole occasion. Fucking hate rugby reffing at the minute.

Has the ref been told at last to look at both sides, as he has finally noticed Ireland offside. Ireland playing well.

What did it for me was early in the first half, Italy 5 yard line out, set up the maul which Ireland collapse (no sanction) they recycle and take ball into contact, choke tackle maul called but it then goes to ground, Irish players don't let go. Scrum Ireland....the maul stops when the ball grounds but Sexton was screaming at him.

Sounds like a shackle dragger. Yeah I'd be surprised if they didn't, think this is one of the worst performances Italy have put on, ever. They do this sometimes-against us last year (or the year before when we piled points on them) No urgency. Ireland have been good don't get me wrong.

You do need a strong ref with Ireland playing, they are onto him all the time, and play the ref better than all the NH teams.

Also "it's a pretty long pass so we'll give it" what the fuck was that? It was about level for me but the deciding factor is where the hands move....I despair.

Ouch. Feel for Italy really. I don't think there's any great benefit to either team from a result like that. Wales away next for Italy as well.
