Anyone using EZ-Drummer? Sale now on

Toontrack have a summer sale on expansion packs for their excellent EZ-Drummer software. I find this software excellent, just like a real drummer except it keeps time and you only have to tell it what to do once.  Anyway, 40% off from Toontrack and 50% off if you go through a retail store such - for example - Time+Space.  Fill yer boots, I have.

What are some other good expansion packs?  I have the Nashville one just.  I was thinking of one of the metal ones but there are so many of them and they seem to sound similar.

Cheers Drew.  The thing I like about the metal packs is that they are good for rock too.  The Nashville pack is versatile enough also.

  • I got the Indie Folk one, very nice for acoustic tunes, but the Rock one is generally the go to one for general usage.

have you tried the Nashville kit?  It's very nice and has a brush and finger drum kit.  I hear people saying Nashville has the best snare sound, but I don't know.  TRhe rock one does sound good, I like the presets with loads of reverb on them.

  • I haven't, but with the sale on it's probably worth giving it a punt.

Just got the nashville one after seeing this post. Not had much time with it but it does seem good. The southern soul one looks good too
