Flying with a Spitfire

Well it finally happened, after a few cancellations and a company going bust, I got my belated 40th Birthday treat yesterday...and boy was it worth the wait.

A day at Headcorn Aerodrome near Ashford, then a flight over the white cliffs in a de Havilland Dove....wing to wing with TD314, a MkIX Spitfire.

Just stunning in the air.

I should give a plug to the company that offer these flights as well, that's Aero Legends: http://aerolegends.co.uk/home They stepped in when a competitor we'd originally booked with folded and put on extra flights so no one missed out on the experience.
