I know there are a few hardcore RT fans on here.

I stumbled across this today - not a guitar I'd associate with him - but still sounds like RT:

  • He's unbelievable. Caught one if his shows this summer...outrageous;) An inspirational player/writer/performer
Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life

I assume it's borrowed - as he seems to be doing a guest spot. It suits his playing surprisingly well....

  • Glen Hansard is great. I used hammer the Frames first album.

  • Great clip, thanks for posting Richard.

He and Sandy on the original, break my bloody heart every time I hear them.

    A national treasure.

I can't hear much for all those whooping half-wits. It might get better but I'll never know ;)

Couldn't agree more - I don't know of anyone whose been as consistently great - or as prolific - over such a long period of time.

Most careers as long as his have flashes of genius - which are seen as the highlights. His career is full of highlights - including the latest album which contains several songs which are right up there with anything he's done.

I reckon you're right - 'National treasure' is exactly what he is.

It's an interesting clip. It most definitely feels like RT, but it's quite a different sound to his normal electric tone...

Interesting that he is the opening act for Glen Hansard. Quite intimidating or amazing having RT as your opener.

2nd song is an acoustic version of I misunderstood. Sounds great this way.
