Pimping my JVM410HJS...

So, having made a lot of internal mods to the JVM410HJS (which is a killer amp, by the way), I decided to start modding the look of it.... pretty pleased with the end result! Not perfect, but it'll do (especially for the cost of everything - £25 in total for the perspex and lights!):

Certainly turned a few heads at the gig on Saturday!

I commented on your other post regarding the mods you did.. Would love to know what the AFD & RR mod adds.

I have the standard 410H which I modded also.

Cheers mate  Very happy with it!

Didn't see the other post - but the details for the gain stage mods can be found here - http://jvmforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=5271

Basically, they both add an extra gain stage, where the RR mode adds more treble and mids, while the AFD adds a lot more 'girth' and grit. I use Crunch Red with AFD (and the negative feedback mod as well) and it sounds awesome.

Fabtastic! Do the colours cycle round automatically? I have some plug-in LED lights for the kids' rooms that do that...

Cheers mate! The lights can be set to be solid, cycle, fade, strobe etc, and you can set the speed. Got the led lights off amazon, and some clear led holder things to screw into the wood.

UPDATE - I've now added the ability to the colours to cycle and change based on the music..... works like a dream!

Now just have to hope nobody in the crowd suffers from epilepsy.....
