Oil City Rocket 55s (low-output, John Mayer-esque pickups) – £80 75 SOLD

A new set from Ash would set you back £100 and there is no guarantee that he'll be the one winding it, as the only series that is 100% wound by the master winder is the Oil City Masterwound series. This is brand New with Cream covers and is handwound by Ash himself (signed on the back of each pickup). I bought this for a Stratocaster project that never materialized, I asked him specifically for pickups that would nail the John Mayer tone. I referenced John Mayer’s Belief in his Live in LA concert and Ash recommended the Rocket 55s, for their low output and scooped sound. 


I am away until the 24th March, and so will ship all items on the 24th/25th when I return.
