A proper vintage Gretsch complete with original lime green lined case and that 'Great Gretsch Sound'. The guitar is a beauty in really good condition for its 37 years, the gold has started to age but imho that adds to the vibe. It feels and sounds like the classic guitar that it is - think early Neil Young and obviously Chet himself. I'm selling as I find I play my Telecaster 95pct of the time and the Gretsch is worth too much money to be hanging there as a piece of wall art. Looking for £1850

Wow, great guitar.  I'm quite a fan of Blacktop Filtertrons of this era (and the reissues).

You should get over to Gretsch Talk, and post it there.  They have a very high ratio of UK/European Gretsch fans (myself included) to USA based ones.  You might stand a better chance of selling it there.

Thanks Marlin and funny enough I did go over there to get an idea of value as pretty much all the ones I've seen FS have been in the US. They are a good bunch over there but I (possibly incorrectly) felt that they were mainly US posters. Really glad I came across this site though !

These 70s gent are very Underrated and imo they are as good as the 60s ones. Great guitar n looks good. It might be worth posting some more pictures to show the guitar off a bit more.
