Easiest way to turn off amp modelling on Boss GT100?

Sure I'm being a bit dull here, but what's the easiest way to bypass amp models and just use the GT100 for effects? Manual Mode seems to retain the settings from whatever Patch was on. I've been using it into amp's Send but fancy experimenting more with the effects into my amp...

Go into effects section and highlight the amp block then switch off the amp. It's pretty straightforward. You alway have the amp block it's either on or off. When it's off it's completely bypassed.
