Continuing on from last week's Bb7 6x6336 of chords in the Key of Eb with a Bb note as a pedal at xxxxx6 on the top string, here's another chord from the song 'Two Sins' which we played at church last Sunday.
It's like the Wonderwall chord but shifted up three frets so the open G on the 3rd string is doubled by the same pitch G on string 4, which is quite resonant as that's the root note of the chord. You could play a complete chord with the G root note in the bass by wrapping your thumb over the sixth string at the 3rd fret, but in practice I didn't bother, I just let the bass-player take care of the root-note :-)
Gm7/D: x55066
Next week I'll probably do the Cm7 chord which I played next in the same song. During the service we had two songs in Ab and this one in Eb, so I discovered quite a few new chords!
